Target participants: 80 residents of all ages
Duties we need to do:
1) Grouping residents by giving them coloured ribbons (to be attached to them in the course of the whole event) after they have registered with the community centre and renting out to and get back bicycles from residents - 5 people
2) People near 6 seater-vans at each of the 3 water points to distribute water - 1 per van as not many people needed to distribute water - 3
3) First aiders (we don't need to provide, but if we want, we can have 1 per van at the each of the three water points) - 3
4) Game masters for around 2 station games where all 80 residents will participate at once - at least 20 people as it is a wide scale game
5) Photographers (can be chosen from the game masters) to take photos at the game stations - 4
6) Logistics I/Cs to make sure that all logistics are ready and working and prepare a list of things that we need and presents for some categories such as youngest cyclist and oldest cyclist so that we can get them beforehand. - 3
7) Game I/Cs to plan and be overall in charge at game sites - 2 to 4
Other details: Route that we are taking is tentatively Telok Blangah CC to Tanjong Pagar Railway (water point 1) to Marina Integrated Resorts (water point 2) to Clifford Pier or Vivo (water point 3). There is not enough space to play at Tanjong Pagar Railway. Hence, games will only be played in Marina IR and Clifford Pier/Vivo.
Games should be simple to play for all ages. Remember, there are elderly playing too.The residents may play in groups (depending on how we plan). In this case, the grouping at the start of the event will help. Hence, we need to think about how to group them from the start. People in the same family will want to be in the same group. Please note that all volunteers must stay throughout the whole event unless permitted by teacher or in charge (ask for permission beforehand).
The whole event will end around 4.30am on Sun and the CC will most probably give us a room to stay in until we can catch the first bus. Please also note that we may need to report earlier that day to prepare for the activity. Please ask your parents for permission as we will most probably need to stay overnight.
